Simon is a Select Group Assistant Referee with a career spanning over 20 years.
His career began back in 1997 when he first started refereeing in local park football. He progressed into the Football League in 2005, moving onto the Premier League in 2007 where he remains today. He retired from FIFA in 2016.
During his career, Simon has attended the U20’s 2011 World Cup in Colombia, the 2012 Olympic Games in London, the U17’s 2013 World Cup – UAE and the 2016 European Championships in France.
Simon has officiated in a number of finals including FA Cup, League Cup, Olympic Games, UEFA Champions League and UEFA Euro Final, to name a few.
